A compilation of oral histories about the movement of Luo and some Bantu-speaking peoples: clan histories and the forces that drove them to seek a land of their own (drought, warfare, disease, competition over pastoral resources in western Kenya). The stories span pre-colonial and post-colonial eras. Zedekia Oloo Sisoo, born in 1934, spent over two decades gathering these from elders across North Mara.
